Completion of Initial Maintenance Works and Commencement of Routine Maintenance on the Al Kadan - Malhan Maintenance Road

Al Kadan - Malhan Maintenance Road project in Al Mahweet Governorate, part of the Rural Access Program (RAP) within Yemen Emergency Lifeline Connectivity Project (YELCP) B component, funded by World Bank (WB) through United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), is making significant progress. The project has reached a cumulative progress of 89.32%, representing 87.80% of the total contract cost. The initial maintenance works have been completed, and routine maintenance, which will continue for eight months, has commenced. This labour-intensive project is crucial for maintaining road infrastructure and ensuring safe transportation routes for the local population, while also providing job opportunities for the local community.
