Successful Completion of the Al-Azarq - Al Dhalee Subproject

Rural Access Program (RAP) within Yemen Emergency Lifeline Connectivity Project (YELCP), funded by the World Bank (WB) through the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Al-azarq - Al Dhalea subproject in Al Dhalee Governorate in April 2024. This vital infrastructure project has achieved 100% of its planned goals. This milestone significantly enhances road connectivity and infrastructure in the region, contributing to safer and more efficient transportation for local communities. The project connects the districts canter’s to the governorate centre, improving access and mobility for residents. This accomplishment underscores RAP's commitment to fostering development and accessibility in rural Yemen. The initial handover of the project site has been completed, marking a major step forward in our ongoing efforts to enhance regional infrastructure.
